Research & Data Analysis Intern, Endeavor Insight (Summer 2026)
THE POSITION
Endeavor Insight is the research division of Endeavor that provides data-driven analysis and visualizations showing what makes entrepreneurial ecosystems thrive. Our research team of economists, data scientists, and policy analysts specializes in understanding the needs of high-impact entrepreneurs and evaluating the networks that enable them to scale up and pay it forward to the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The Research & Data Analysis Intern will support the research projects on entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world. In this role, they will help build and validate founder and company datasets, support basic analysis, and contribute to research outputs through literature synthesis.
Recent projects have studied the career pathways of successful founders, analyzed innovative tech sectors in emerging markets, and developed guidance for decision makers who support entrepreneurs as they scale their businesses. The role will report to the Senior Research Manager.

Interview process:
Round 1 (30 minutes): Introductory and skills-based interview focused on motivation, background, fit, availability, and relevant research and Excel experience
Round 2 (30 minutes, may or may not be required): Additional interview step, if needed.
Offer extension: By early April 2026
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data collection and validation: Collect data on entrepreneurial companies and their founders.
Data cleaning and analysis: Organize and clean data, run basic analyses, and create tables that help the team on MS Excel.
Literature reviews and synthesis: Conduct targeted literature reviews and summarize key findings.
Editing and proofreading: Support the publication process by proofreading drafts.
Research operations and team support: Assist with communications and other departmental tasks as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Student Status: Undergraduate students only.
Areas of Focus: A strong academic record and demonstrated interest in economics, international development, statistics, journalism, or business. An interest in conducting research on entrepreneurs and economic growth.
Skills: Microsoft Excel (required). Experience with data collection and cleaning.
Additional Qualifications: Strong writing and synthesis skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
Work authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. We will not be able to interview or select candidates without valid U.S. work authorization for the 2026 year.
Hardware Requirements: Access to a computer with a reliable internet connection.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Endeavor Global Summer Internship Program invites students to spend 10 weeks working closely with teams within our Headquarters – Partnerships, Platforms, Marketing, Insight, People, EX Growth, Selection, Finance, Catalyst, Capital, and Global Hubs.
Our Internship Program prioritizes a hands-on and immersive experience for our interns. Interns work as contributors within their teams and take on meaningful projects that have a real-time impact on the work that we do. In addition to project-based experience, interns participate in curated learning sessions throughout the summer, including deep dives into Endeavor’s teams, public speaking and résumé workshops, fireside chats with senior leaders including our CEO, and opportunities to join networking events in our New York office.

Program Duration: Monday, June 1 to Friday, August 7, 2026
Pay: $17/hr, with a maximum of 40 hours/week
Structure: This is a hybrid internship in New York City, with three days per week to be spent at Endeavor Global’s HQ office in Downtown Manhattan.

This position will be compensated at NY State minimum wage ($17/hour) up to 40 hours per week.
The Summer Internship Program will run from Monday, June 1 to Friday, August 7, 2026.
Internships follow a hybrid schedule and interns will be expected to work in our Downtown Manhattan Office 3 days a week (as determined by the hiring team).
