The Endeavor Catalyst Asia team is seeking a motivated individual to participate in a fun learning experience this summer 2025. The Country Launcher Intern (Korea, Thailand, Australia) will be involved in supporting the Singapore office, and initiatives in either Korea, Thailand or Australia for Endeavor Catalyst. In particular, they will help us map out the ecosystem in the country (own networks are very beneficial), and help set us up for success in the market.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This internship is highly hands on, and local Singaporeans or ability to work in Singapore is a plus. If based elsewhere, willing to work Singapore hours or work async with overlap to Singapore. This internship will be remote, unless willing and able to fund own accommodations and travel to Singapore.

• Program Duration:Monday, June 2 to Friday, August 1, 2025
• Pay: This is a paid internship, working up to 40 hours/week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a country launcher for one of the three countries: Korea, Thailand, Australia. See description of which suits you best - and apply indicating which country you have the strongest connection to):

• Market Entry into Korea: South Korea is a thriving startup hub, and Seoul is the country’s central breeding ground for innovation. Seoul ranked #11 among 130 cities in the Global Financial Centres Index 34, which evaluates worldwide financial competitiveness. In 2023, VC investments reached $8.4 billion, with investors and the government of Korea creating a $6.2 billion venture fund for local startups by 2025. The Seoul Vision 2030 Fund is a $4.22 billion fund dedicated to enabling global startup growth. You will help us map the South Korean Ecosystem of potential Board Members, Entrepreneurs, Mentors and Endeavor Catalyst Investors and start the outreach to warm contacts. You will also help us translate our pitch deck into Korean.

• Market Entry into Thailand: The country had over 1,000 startups as of 2022, according to Startup Universal. It was also ranked 54th on Startup Blink’s global startup ecosystem index in 2023, and is fourth among all the Southeast Asian countries. Startup funding in Thailand has also been steadily on the rise in the last few years.It hit an all-time high of over US$547.5 million in 2023, according to Tech in Asia’s database. This happened despite the overall funding slowdown in the region, indicating that investors are taking a growing interest in Thailand and its startups. You will help us map the Thai Ecosystem of potential Board Members, Entrepreneurs, Mentors and Endeavor Catalyst Investors and start the outreach to warm contacts

• Market Entry into Australia: Sydney, the capital of New South Wales (NSW), is the leading tech and innovation ecosystem in the Southern Hemisphere. Home to over 3,000 tech startups, it is the regional HQ for more than 600 multinational companies capitalizing on the state’s research, talent, and business-friendly regulatory environment. Internationally-recognised unicorns with global HQs in Sydney include Atlassian, Canva and Immutable. You will help us map the Australian Ecosystem of potential Board Members, Entrepreneurs, Mentors and Endeavor Catalyst Investors and start the outreach to warm contacts.

In addition to supporting us with a specific country launch, we’d love your help with:

• Telling our story in that market: You will help find the most inspiring entrepreneur stories in Endeavor’s ecosystem and help us tell their story. To help us tell their story, you will also help map out potential partners (publications, news outlets) in your chosen market to help us amplify our reach.
• Data and Intelligence: Salesforce is our bread and butter at Endeavor but we have created systems that live outside it. You will help us figure out the best way to capture, update, and visualize our information to help us create actionable insights for years to come.
• Ecosystem Exposure:Through this internship you will learn the ins and outs of the Singapore tech ecosystem, as well as the different ways its resources can support the rest of ASEAN.
  • You will be exposed to different ecosystem players from founders, journalists, investors, lawyers, service providers, the like. 
  • You will have the opportunity to collaborate with all staff members across Asia, as well as parts of our Global team, which are some of the smartest, most ambitious and fun colleagues around the world

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a student attending an institution of learning with courses leading to a degree, certificate or diploma - or - you were a student during the preceding semester or have not yet graduated or completed the educational requirements of the program.
• Familiarity with working with data analysis tools, advance usage of excel, salesforce preferred. Notion and Social Media channels is a plus
• Strong networks in the country you want to support launch. Deep network of entrepreneurs, ecosystem players, and business leaders preferred.
• Any relevant skills from past experiences or education is a plus
• Must be willing to learn and follow directions.
