ABOUT PLATFORM
We're hiring a Product Manager at Endeavor to join our Platform team. This role is crucial for enhancing our organization's intelligence and efficiency. The main goals include improving processes, unlocking value, and using data and technology to promote knowledge management throughout Endeavor. Reporting to the Platform Director, the PM will act as the front-line with our product developers and users, supporting product adoption, buildout, reliability, and training of Endeavor’s platforms.
The PM will also coordinate with third-party contractors and ensure our internal software tools are developed according to our specific requirements. This role requires technical expertise and project management skills to ensure our software products are built and maintained effectively and efficiently. The PM will also handle small internal software developments for testing and experimentation and then identify those that Endeavor should scale worldwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the Software Development Lifecycle:
- Manage all stages, from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal/external teams on features and improvements.
- Set timelines, assign tasks, and track project progress.

Drive Innovation & User Focus:
- Conduct user research and identify scalable internal software solutions.
- Propose technologies and solutions during the product design process.
- Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements.

Ensure Product Quality & Security:
- Guarantee software compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential issues.

Empower the Team & Users:
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
- Coordinate user training on software tools and security protocols.
- Troubleshoot user issues and act as the first line of support.

Communicate Effectively:
- Report regularly on project status, software development, and performance.
- Document your implementations and technical decisions proactively.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have 3-4 years of relevant, full-time work experience. We respect hard work and are more concerned with proven ability to deliver results than specific credentials.
- Bachelor's in CS, IT, or similar + strong technical skills (cloud, databases, programming languages).
- Experience in product/software development, including working with external teams.
- Excellent project management skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication/interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively (internally and externally).
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to software development and security.
- Adaptable to working on Eastern Time for essential meetings. Efficient asynchronous communication is key.
DESIRABLE
- Certifications in cloud solutions (such as Salesforce, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Google Cloud, Typesense, and NocoDB) or project management (such as PMP or Agile) are desirable.
- Good knowledge and experience working with JavaScript (or TypeScript) are required, as is the ability to build applications from scratch using sound code design patterns.
- Knowledge of API design in NodeJS and proficiency in handling relational (SQL) and non-relational (No-SQL) databases.
- Experience in a supervisory role, managing teams or contractors.
- Proficiency in English (intermediate level, both oral and written).
